Street Closures Announced for Mayor's Hike, Bike and Paddle Event

The highly anticipated Mayor's Hike, Bike and Paddle event is set to take place in Louisville on Labor Day, Monday, September 5, 2023.

This popular event encourages active transportation and showcases Louisville's beautiful parks and waterways.

Street Closures

To ensure the safety of participants and attendees, several street closures will be in effect during the event:

• Bardstown Road from Baxter Avenue to Grinstead Drive: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Grinstead Drive from Bardstown Road to Cherokee Park: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Cherokee Park Loop Road: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow for additional travel time.
