New Land Set to Open at Disney's Hollywood Studios
Disneyland has announced plans to bring the beloved characters from Monsters Inc. to life in a brand-new land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The announcement was made during the Disney Experiences Showcase at D23, where actor Billy Crystal took to the stage to reprise his role as Mike Wazowski.
The Monsters Inc. land, dubbed WEB (We Energy Behind), will be the first-ever land based on the popular Disney and Pixar franchise. According to Disney, the land will be themed around the power of laughter and will feature a variety of attractions and experiences for guests of all ages.
