Wembley Stadium to Host 2024 Champions League Final
Borussia Dortmund Secure Final Berth
London's iconic Wembley Stadium has been confirmed as the venue for the 2024 UEFA Champions League final, which will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The announcement came after a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee in Nyon, Switzerland.
Dortmund Triumph over PSG
German club Borussia Dortmund secured their place in the final by defeating French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 2-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Dortmund won the first leg at home 1-0 before holding PSG to a goalless draw in the second leg in Paris.
This will be the third time Wembley Stadium has hosted the Champions League final, having previously done so in 2011 and 2013. The stadium has a capacity of over 90,000 and is one of the most iconic venues in world football.
